What is on my November 2024 To-Be-Read List?
What I am reading this month
Halloween is over, but that doesn’t mean I am through with my Fall reading. Contrary to most, I’m not quite ready to dive head-first into my holiday reading list. But, I’m also prepared to acknowledge that maybe we are done with the strictly Halloween reads. Ideally, I am looking for great transition books to take me from spooky Halloween to holiday rom-com time.
This is generally when I would start hitting the dark academia hard — so look out for a few of those on this list. Plus, a couple of extra miscellaneous books thrown in just for variety and fun.
The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling
Now, this is a recent release (October 15, 2024), and the 3rd installment in The Ex Hex series — but don’t let this deter you from reading. The Ex Hex is a witchy romance series by Erin Sterling (penname for Rachel Hawkins mystery/thriller author of The Heirress, Reckless Girls, The Wife Upstairs, and more).
Bowen Penhallow (the 3rd Penhallow brother to be featured in these books), is an introverted recluse living in the Welsh countryside. He gets an invite from his ghost friend Declan to the witch wedding of the century at the Tywyll property. Also in attendance is Tamsyn, a magical artifacts dealer known to Bowen.
