It’s time for a mid-year book freak out — here are my thoughts

It’s the mid-year book freak out tag.

This is a tag that was popularized on Youtube, giving people the opportunity to wax poetic about their favourite books of the year using a series of book-related questions. I thought it might be fun to replicate it in written form and use it as a writing prompt to speak about some of the books I’ve read.

The mid-year book freak out tag was originally created by Ely and Chami on Youtube and has since been completed by many other people.

So far this year, at the time of writing this I have read 24 books total from many different genres.

So, let’s discuss.

Best book you’ve read so far in 2022?

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir.

This was a tough one, but once I thought of this book I knew it has taken the number one slot. I believe this is my only 5-star read so far this year (I’m a tough cookie).
