Books I Plan to Read This May 2023

What is on my TBR for this month?

So, the spring weather is upon us and with it comes more books that I am looking forward to reading this season.

I’ve been in a bit of a slump for April, but thankfully find myself reading a lot more than I did in March (two books vs. the six that I was able to complete in April, respectively).

Similar to my reading for April, I want to set myself some gentle intentions for what I plan to accomplish for the month — — no sense making lofty 10-book reading lists when I’ve been struggling to get my butt in gear as is.

Coupled with this I am currently holed up in my bedroom sick with Covid (again). Usually with this comes a large amount of reading, as a way to pass the time if I’m not feeling 100%.

So, with this in mind here are my gentle suggestions of books that I have been waiting for on hold at the library, books that have sounded interesting to me, and books that I hope to get to.

A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking by T. Kingfisher

Genre: (cozy) fantasy

This is a book that I had out from the library previously and wasn’t able to complete before the hold had lapsed.
