Books I Plan to Read Before the End of the Year

Checking in with all of you for goal-setting and accountability purposes

I initially set myself the goal of reading 55 books in 2022.

Currently I am sitting at 75 books read for the year. Now, looking forward to 2023 I don’t anticipate increasing my reading goal by that much. Truthfully, because reading (and writing about reading) is a fun hobby for me. I’m not looking to make it into a competition and “push boundaries” with how many books I can read.

Quite simply, I read because I enjoy it.

I wouldn’t want something that is a fun stress-reliever to turn into a chore — reading for the sole purpose of trying to increase the number of books read.

However, something of note, is that I am mostly a mood reader. So, I like to set myself up with a variety of books to choose from when putting together TBR lists.

All that aside, there actually are some books that I have on my TBR list that I need to read by certain deadlines (example- library loans expiring, or having borrowed the book from a friend). So, here is my braindump in article form detailing the books I will (hopefully) finish before the year is done.
